May 6, 2014 Technology

MyPhone revealed two new smartphones through its official Facebook fan page, following the recent releases of the RioInfinity, and the Rio Lite. Adding to MyPhone’s popular Agua line of Android devices are the Ocean Pro and the Iceberg Slim, both of which run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and supports USB OTG and wireless display functions.

The Ocean Pro is a dual-SIM smartphone that comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with 960 x 540 screen resolution, 8-megapixel main camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Inside, the Ocean Pro is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB RAM and 4GB onboard storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD). Bundled with a 2350mAh removable battery, the Ocean Pro costs PhP 6,999.

Like the preceding Iceberg, the Iceberg Slim is also clad in an aluminum chassis. It offers dual-SIM functionality with a regular SIM slot and a micro SIM slot. The Iceberg Slim sports a 4.7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 screen resolution, an 8-megapixel main camera, and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front. The device’s internal hardware specifications are similar to that of the Ocean Pro. The Iceberg Slim sells for PhP 7,999 with a 1800mAh non-removable battery module.
