Will Piolo will ever get married?

Piolo Pascual will not rush into marriage even if good pal Jericho Rosales has already done so.

The actor maintains that he aims to go down that road as well, only that, as of the moment, he has been too busy to give it much thought.

“Hindi na rin naman kami bumabata. Sunud-sunod na rin ’yan. Siguro masyado lang tayong busy sa trabaho pero ’yung mga ganyang bagay, dumadating ’yan sa atin,” Pascual told ABS-CBN News.

He added, “I hope soon. I promised my son (Iñigo)… Pero hindi rin naman ako nagpapa-pressure.There’s a time for everything.”

Still, Pascual said, “It would be nice if aprobado sa kanya pero hindi naman siya ang makikisama.”

Asked about Shaina Magdayao, with whom he has been romantically linked prior, Pascual said, “Okay naman. Lie low lang muna tayo sa ganun kasi pareho kaming busy.” Nevertheless, he maintained that he and Magdayao are “friends.”

“We are always in touch. Hindi nawawala ang communication. Kalma lang,” he added.

After the success of “Starting Over Again,” which broke box-office records, Pascual will be seen on TV again via the upcoming primetime soap “Hawak Kamay,” where he will be paired again with Iza Calzado.

“I’m excited to work with Iza again for something that’s going to last longer. Sa ‘Milan’ cameo lang siya, tapos sa ‘Starting Over Again’ towards the last part na siya. First time kami magkakasama sa buong show. And also with Nikki (Gil). I only get to work with them sa ‘ASAP.’ Tapos finally we’re working on a soap together. It’s nice to work with friends,” he shared in a separate ABS-CBN News report.

The soon-to-air family drama will see Pascual in a father role. “It’s kind of overwhelming when they said na apat ang anak ko dito sa soap pero okay lang naman. Trabaho lang naman and maganda naman ang story. As long as I know na maganda ang konsepto, something different, I’m all for it. I have a 17-year-old son. These are kids. I’m okay.”
