Ryan Bang on Alex Gonzaga: Echosera siya

Comedian Ryan Bang snatched the limelight during the press conference of the upcoming series “Hawak Kamay” on Friday as he talked about actress-host Alex Gonzaga, who recently turned him down.

Speaking with members of the entertainment media, Bang couldn’t help but admit that he felt hurt by Gonzaga.

While he did not formally court Gonzaga, Bang said he knew that the actress-host also had feelings for him.

Having said this, he referred to Gonzaga as “echosera.”

“Hindi naman ako busted kasi hindi naman ako todong [nanligaw]. Pero echosera siya… Hindi naman ako talagang tanga eh. Kung hindi niya ako pinaasa… Siyempre ako rin may naramdaman ako, may feelings siya sa akin,” he said, drawing laughter from those who were present at the press conference.

“Ako rin tao ako. Hindi ba lahat naman tayo may feelings… ‘Yung kapag naramdaman niyong may kembot siya sa akin kaya hinayaan mo. Eh kung alam ko lang na sobrang ayaw niya sa akin eh hindi ko na siya papansinin. May naramdaman ako na may pagtingin sa akin kaya ko siya gusto. Pero ‘yun pala, hindi niya gusto… tapos sabi niya the door is closed. Ayaw kong ipilit na buksan ang pinto,” he added.

The “It’s Showtime” host also cried foul over Gonzaga’s comment that she finds him “pangit.”

“Mabait po si Alex kasi dahil sa kanya ay nagpunta ako sa simbahan. Pero kasi ‘yung biro niya, ayaw ko ng biro niya eh. Kasi pangit ako, sabi niya, ‘Ryan, pangit ka.’ Nasaktan ako kasi totoo eh, hindi ba? Saka ang ganda niya. Kung pangit siya at nagsabi sa akin, okay lang pero maganda siya na nagsabi sa akin. Eh alam ko naman, kaya nasasaktan ako,” he said.

Despite this, however, Bang said that he has moved on, sharing that he is in a relationship with a non-showbiz personality that he met through common friends.

“May GF ako na taga-FEU (Far Eastern University). Koreana po siya. Napakabait, simple and happy ako kapag kasama ko siya,” he said.

In a previous interview, Gonzaga said that she has no time for love, stressing that her priority now is her showbiz career.

Aside from co-hosting “Pinoy Big Brother: All In”, Gonzaga is also busy with her afternoon series, “Pure Love.”
