[TEASER] The Hiro-Mitch Love Story on MMK

The Hiro Mallari and Michelle Ann Bonzo love story will be featured on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) this Saturday, September 13, 2014, on ABS-CBN, starring Janella Salvador and introducing Manolo Pedrosa of PBB in his first ever drama role on TV.

The MMK episode tells a story of true love between Hiro, who was left heartbroken after his girlfriend, Mitch, unexpectedly passed away, just a few days after their 7th monthsary.

Michelle Ann or Mitch was one of the seven Bulacan State University tourism students who perished after they were swept away by raging floodwaters while crossing Madlum River in San Miguel town last Tuesday afternoon, August 19. Michelle Ann and Hiro, who are famous campus figures at BSU, just celebrated their 7th monthsary when the tragedy took her life.

Many netizens were affected emotionally by the incident after seeing Hiro’s heartbreaking tweets and posts.

Netizens requested for MMK to feature Hiro-Mitch love story and contacted ABS-CBN through their offical Facebook page.

While it has been confirmed that Janella Salvador and Manolo Pedrosa will give life to the love story of Hiro and Mitch, some netizens were a little disappointed that Hiro-Mitch will not be played by loveteam, James Reid and Nadine Lustre, also known as “JaDine”. But nonetheless, the Hiro-Mitch story fans were happy that the request has been granted!
