Finally, Hollywood movie Blood Ransom releases a one minute teaser showing Anne Curtis together with co-star Alexander Doetsch. In this teaser, Doetsch’s role was surprised in disbelief that Crystal played by Anne Curtis is alive.

Blood Ransom is an indie Hollywood film under Tectonic Films and directed by Filipino-American director Francis dela Torre, also the director of 2011 American Movie Subject: I Love You starring Jericho Rosales.

The story of crime thriller Blood Ransom revolves around the character of Crystal portrayed by Anne Curtis who was kidnapped by Jeremiah, a Filipino immigrant, played by Alexander Doetsch and later decided to return Crystal back to his boyfriend, Roman, who was also his boss but Crystal refused to come back because they both already fell in love with each other . As the plot goes, Roman hired a hitman to hunt for Crystal and her kidnappers but as Crystal and Jeremiah’s love grew, a deeper secret burns within Crystal.

It can be remembered that in May 2012, Anne Curtis temporarily left Its Showtime to fly to the United States to film for an “international project” which was later revealed to be the film Blood Ransom when the photo of her in a fake missing-person poster, the phrase “Blood Ransom” placed over her lips.

Upon Anne Curtis’ comeback from the United States, she told in an interview that she was very happy to fulfill her mother’s dream to see her in an indie film which was fortunately to be in Hollywood. Anne Curtis also informed that she enjoyed filming Blood Ransom and will forever treasure this experience.

“It was an amazing and unforgettable experience for me. I enjoyed it thoroughly and it was something that I will never really forget,” Anne said.
There is still no announcement to when this movie will be released but Anne Curtis is hoping that Blood Ransom will be showed here in the Philippines since it’s her first indie film at the same time her first project outside the country
