Charice’s ‘Pretty Hurts’ Performance no longer on Youtube, ABS-CBN Entertainment Inc. blocked them all

COMMENTARY

I was one of the many Pinoys who was so happy to hear Charice belting again where is was known for. But I was so devastated when I went to Youtube and found out that Charice’s Pretty Hurts performance video was taken down by ABS-CBN Interactive, Inc. because of copyright issues. ALL OF THEM ARE NOW BLOCKED!

So what I did was to go to the ABS-CBN Interactive, Inc. official Youtube account hoping that can I watch the video on their channel. And BOOM!!! Surprise… It is not uploaded there 🙁

The question on my mind now is why ABS-CBN blocked the video and did not upload it on their channel. We all know that Charice now is struggling to get her popularity back again and we all know that it is in Youtube where her fame all started. So why not help her to be popular again than limiting the platform where her fans can listen to her?
