“We survived it!”

These were the words of KZ Tandingan referring to her live acapella performance with fellow “ASAP” mainstays Sarah Geronimo, Yeng Constantino and Angeline Quinto on Sunday.

In a number inspired by the just-released big-screen musical “Pitch Perfect 2,” the four singing champions took the stage with a mash-up of Beyonce’s “Run the World” and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.”

Apparently forgetting the lyrics at one point, Constantino had a shaky transition to “Wrecking Ball” but was assisted by Geronimo, who mouthed the words to her close friend.

Moments after the performance, Tandingan and Constantino posted similar photos on Instagram showing them with Quinto.

“Sayang wala si Sarah sa photo na to!” Constantino said in the caption. “May schedule yata siya after nung prod eh. Basta! Napakasaya nung prod kanina! Thank you girls! So proud of you!”

Tandingan, in her own post, expressed relief over having done the number successfully. She credited Annie Quintos of The CompanY for coaching them.

“We survived it! So proud of us! Thank you again Teacher Annie for making sure we remember our harmonies! More awe-inspiring production numbers in the future,” she said.
