JM de Guzman dares Enrique Gil in a fight

Two weeks after drunk Enrique Gil reportedly tried to hit on actress Jessy Mendiola, fellow actor JM de Guzman on Friday dared Gil to face him in a fight.

De Guzman is Mendiola’s boyfriend.

“With all due respect to Enrique Gil’s friends, fans and family. I would like to challenge you to a one on one [amateur] mixed martial arts match any place any time, ” de Guzman said on his Instagram post.

The actor added: “I’ll give you time to prepare. Man up. Face me. (reply to my text messages please.) thanks brother.: @enrique17.”

On September 4, Enrique allegedly got drunk and caused a commotion while aboard a passenger plane with other ABS-CBN stars as they were headed to London for the “ASAP” concert.

Gil reportedly became rowdy and tried to harass Mendiola.

According to a gossip blog, de Guzman was enraged after learning the true account of the incident.

Gil later apologized to Mendiola and de Guzman on “TV Patrol” last Sept 11. He said that the public apology was his way of “owning up to his actions.”

Mendiola earlier posted on her Instagram account a cryptic message that many believed was directed to Gil.

“The truth will always come out no matter how you lie about it. You know what you did, so don’t try to squeeze yourself out by fabricating stories. Even trying to ruin other people’s relationship with your twisted mind. Someone heard and saw what you did. What goes around comes back around brother,” Mendiola said.

Both de Guzman and Mendiola didn’t show up in the Star Magic Ball last Saturday at Shangri-La Makati.

Online reports said that because of the problems the whole incident has caused, de Guzman and Mendiola had just called it quits.

The couple’s fans believed the rumors about the breakup were true as hinted by de Guzman’s Instagram post on Tuesday showing his sketch of Jessy’s face.

“I don’t draw. Finding it hard to remember the last time you smiled.thank you. @senorita_jessy. For everything,” the caption said.
