‘Showtime’ launches new segment Hulanino

“It’s Showtime” on Monday launched its new segment Hulanino, a shadow-guessing game based on the winning performance of Filipino shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra.

In “Hulanino,” the “It’s Showtime” hosts were divided in two groups: team one (Eruption, Teddy Corpuz, Vhong Navarro, and Anne Curtis) and team two (Vice Ganda, Jugs Jugueta, Karylle, and Jhong Hilario).

Three members of each team acted the movies behind a white translucent wall, while one of their teammates has to guess the title of the movie. Props were also provided to allow the hosts to improvise.

Each team was given two minutes to guess as much movie titles as they can.

The segment received a warm welcome on Twitter.
