Charice to appear again on the Oprah Winfrey’s show

International recording star Charice has a bunch of reasons to be grateful for recently, among them was her recently-concluded interview with her American Media Superstar godmother Oprah Winfrey.

During her exclusive interview which aired on The Buzz on Sunday, Charice confirmed that she indeed had an interview with Oprah while in the US for her world tour.

“Yes po it’s coming out this October 19,”she said.

How was the entire experience?

“Kinakabahan ako kasi nung pagpasok ko palang sa studio sabi ko I’m really nervous. sabi nila,Don’t be, this is your homecoming,” she recalled.

The last time that Charice was on the show was in 2010 when she debuted her international single Pyramid with rapper Iyaz.

According to the performer touted by Oprah as ‘The Most Talented Girl in the World’ their interview was very intimate because it was only her and the famed host inside the studio.

She added, “Siguro, yung interview po na, yun it sounded like nag-come out naman ako sa US and yet she made me feel comfortable with everything and I’m excited for everyone to see it kasi ibang side na ito.”

Recall that Charice came out as a lesbian mid last year then shortly after that she revealed her relationship with singer Alyssa Quijano.

Off cam, Charice says she got an inspiring message from Oprah.

“She hugged me and she was like I’m very proud of you,” recalled the Kapamilya talent.

Apart from her soon-to-air guesting on the American talk show, Charice considers her recent reconciliation with her Mommy Raquel as another blessing in her life.

As she revealed about their mending of ties on her Instagram recently, a lot of her fans called Chasters have been curious as how it actually ensued.

“Actually before pa po, yung nangyari sa airport nagkakausap na kami end of June po. Doon po nag-start. Kasi meron akong email na hindi ko binibuksan when I opened it I saw two emails from her. And yung email na yun from February pa po ata. At that time nakasulat na kinakamusta ako ganyan and kinakamusta niya si Alyssa,” related Charice.

The same night that she read the email and received a reply from her mother, Charice says they had a video call and, as she says, everything felt normal again for them ‘na walang’ awkwardness.”

“Pagbukas pa nga lang ng Skype hinanap niya agad si Alyssa. Nung lumabas po si Alyssa,nakita niya na sa Skype [sabi niya] ‘Hello po Tita Raquel!’ Gusto kong maging emotional pero parang at the same time ayokong maging dramatic that time. Gusto ko lang nandoon yunghappiness,” she shared smiling.

This is a subject that Charice directly corrected in the interview saying that, “With all the achievements before, yun ang iniisip nila na. Maybe yun kaya hindi maka-let go si Mommy Raquel. It’s way deeper.”

Without sharing what it was, Charice says they were able to address that problem.

“Napagusapan lahat. Lahat in-open niya eh. This time parang pinagtatawanan nalang naminand I think hindi lang ako yung nagbago eh. The whole family. All of us changed,”she said.

Ultimately, Charice deduced that their falling out was brought about by their own incorrect judgments.

“Isa sa pagkakamali namin, hinayaan naming yung ibang tao na magsalita sa tenga naming na pinakinggan ng bawat sides kaya siyempre alam kong nasaktan ko siya,” she said.

However she reiterated that since everything is already behind them I’m glad that everything happened “cause everything made me and made my mom more mature and open-minded.”
