Herbert apologizes to Kris

Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista finally apologized to Yahoo Celebrity 2014 Social Media Star of the Year and Female TV Host of the Year nominee Kris Aquino for hurting her feelings by saying on national television that he had to cut his brief relationship with her because of his children.

Philippine Star entertainment editor Ricky Lo wrote in his Funfare column on Saturday, June 28, that Kris’ reply to his question about developments in the story was: “Nag-sorry na. May card na pinadala.”

Still hurt

Kris is still nursing hurt feelings over her brief relationship with Herbert.

She told Ricky that she’s not ready for a new relationship even if her doctor-friend wants to pair her with a “tall, good-looking, fit, personable and successful man.”

“Kahit hindi pa. Too soon,”  Kris said.

It will be recalled that Kris showed how hurt she was at Herbert’s statement when she told co- host Boy Abunda in “Aquino & Abunda Tonight”  that she wished a certain person who was interviewed about her weeks back just replied “no comment” to questions about their relationship.

“Sana sinabi na, ‘No comment kasi nanahimik naman si Kris, so mananahimik na rin lang ako. I’m sorry. Yes, they’ll say, ‘Hindi pa siya nakakamove on.’ Tama po, hindi pa talaga. May galit pa ng konti. May galit pa eh,.” Kris added.
