Jericho, Kim exchange vows in beach wedding

Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones were a picture of pure bliss as they exchanged vows in a beach wedding at Boracay in the evening of Thursday, May 1.

Jericho, dashing in his sand-colored Francis Libiran suit, faced his smiling bride under a canopy adorned with transparent peach-colored cloth and decorations.

Earlier in the day, the groom sent this tweet, obviously directed at Kim, “This will be one of the happiest days of our life together. See you later, LOML.”

Surfboard message

Kim was in a backless gown with a heart-shaped neckline while the ladies in her entourage were in blue.

A huge surfboard with the words “JK 05-01-14 Their forever and ever love begins here” greeted the couple’s carefully-chosen guests.

Jericho and Kim chose Boracay as the venue of their wedding because they both love the water and surfing.

In a previous interview, Jericho said he and Kim are postponing their honeymoon because he is busy with the ABS-CBN drama series “The Legal Wife.”

Realistic views

He also said that he has realistic views on marriage. He knows marriage has many challenges, but he is prepared because he wants to have God at the center of his marriage.

“Lalaglag na yung balat natin, babaho na yung hininga natin, wala na tayong time sa isa’t isa, lahat na nang pangit sabihin na natin. But we have to get ready for that because we won’t live for our own. As an individual, as a single person, we live for someone else. We live in this life because we have a purpose, we have to live for someone.”

Among the celebrities who attended the wedding were Gab Valenciano and Coney Reyes.
