Kathryn Bernardo denies rift with Miles Ocampo

Kapamilya ‘teen queen’ Kathryn Bernardo quashed rumors that she and close friend  Miles Ocampo are at odds because they no longer post photos showing them together in their respective social media accounts.

“Hindi din kasi ako masyado active. Ngayon I try to be active and nami-misinterpret lang siguro ng mga tao pero wala naman (problem),” Kathryn said at the press conference of her newest endorsement Chic Nail Polish at Holiday Inn, Ortigas on Tuesday, August 19.

Tight schedules

Kathryn revealed that their tight schedules keep her and Miles from always meeting up. But they do not have any misunderstanding.

“Feeling ko kasi, akala lang ng mga tao iyon kasi hindi kami masyado nagkikita. Kasi nga nag-school siya, tapos meron siyang “Home Sweetie Home,” “LUV U.” Busy siya and busy din ako.”

The two have chosen to ignore the rumors.

“Actually kahit hindi naman namin pag-usapan, nakikita ko naman sa Twitter. Pero hindi naman namin pinapansin kasi alam naman naming hindi totoo,” Kathryn said.

Julia Montes

Kathryn doesn’t see another friend – Julia Montes – as often as she used to,  but they don’t make an issue out of it.

“Kapag may time naman, we make sure na bigyan namin ng time ang isa’t isa.pero wala kaming away.”
Kathryn also commented on comparisons between and “Talk Back and You’re Dead” star Nadine Lustre.

“Of course, kapag sinasabihan ka na may kamukha ka, nakakatuwa naman. Pero for me kasi, si Nadine mas matanda din sa akin ng two years. Siguro may mga angles na kamukha ko siya. Wala namang issue sa akin kasi kapag nakikita ko siya sa screen, very pretty, very charming.”

Kathryn feels flattered her love team with Daniel Padilla serves as an inspiration to Nadine and her onscreen  partner James Reid.

“Kasi cino-consider nila kami bilang isa sa mga gusto nila. Pressure din, pero kami ni DJ (Daniel) gusto din namin na maganda yung inooffer namin sa lahat. Good thing iyon na nakaka-inspire kami sa mga tao.”

Kathryn is busy with the TV show “Wansapanataym” and her new recording album.
