Kuya Germs suffers mild stroke

Veteran television host and star-maker German “Kuya Germs” Moreno was rushed to St. Lukes Medical Center in Quezon City last Friday, after suffering a mild stroke.

“His right leg is at 50% mobility. 0% on his right arm and a bit slurry on his speech,” Moreno’s son, Federico Moreno, was quoted as saying in a report on PEP.

He went on to assure that the Master Showman is now okay, adding “It’s just that he cannot entertain any calls nor guests for the coming days. Hope you understand.”

In a separate interview on dzBB, Chuchi Fajardo, Moreno’s staff, said the TV host’s mild stroke resulted from “over fatigue.”

The family is asking for prayers for his quick recovery.

Moreno has been active in the showbiz industry since 1963, popularizing shows like “GMA Supershow,” and “That’s Entertainment,” among others.

The 71-year old currently hosts GMA-7’s long-running late-night show “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.”
