If you saw four men in superhero costumes at the MRT last Wednesday, October  29, chances are these mysterious commuters are Luis Manzano, Matteo Guidicelli, Marvin Agustin and DJ Durano, who boarded the train from the North Avenue station in Quezon City to Shaw Boulevard.

The foursome promoted their movie,  “Moron 5.2”  and entertained passengers with  jokes and candid interactions. They gamely posed for photos with fellow commuters, some of whom asked the actors to take off their masks.

The four guys are not the only cast members who appreciate the value of the MRT.  Comedian-host John Lapus rode the train last October 7 to avoid heavy traffic and catch “Moron 5.2’s”  press conference in Ortigas City.

Other celebrities who took the MRT to beat traffic are Kris Aquino, Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin.

Moron 5.2,” directed by Wenn Deramas,  tells the story of five friends who go on a wacky adventure as they make their children proud. Luis, Billy, Marvin and DJ reprise their roles as Albert, Isaac, Aris and Mozart; while Matteo plays Mike, the character Martin Escudero played in the original movie .

“Moron 5.2” opens in cinemas on Wednesday, November 5.
