Former Kapamilya TV host Mariel Rodriguez returned to ABS-CBN on Monday to become one of judges on “It’s Showtime” for one week.

Shortly after she was introduced as the new “hurado,” Rodriguez immediately became one of the most talked about topic on Twitter in the Philippines, with netizens saying it’s nice to see the TV host on ABS-CBN again.

As a welcome, Rodriguez was asked to give a “sampol” where she would show off her talent.

Granting the studio audience’s request, Rodriguez sang Robert Klein’s “Fallin” and even danced to Vice Ganda’s hit “Boom Panes.”

Rodriguez left ABS-CBN in 2011 to join Willie Revillame’s primetime game show “Wiltime Bigtime,” which eventually became the noontime show “Wowowillie.”

Before moving to the No. 3 network, she was part of several Kapamilya noontime shows such as “Wowowee” and “Pilipinas Win Na Win” and also co-hosted “Pinoy Big Brother” with Toni Gonzaga and Gonzalez.
