After receiving rave reviews for her West End debut, singer Rachelle Ann Go was named Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the current revival of “Miss Saigon” in the 2014 BroadwayWorld UK Awards.
The winners were announced on the website of Broadway World last Friday.
Go plays the role of the lead bar girl Gigi in the new production of “Miss Saigon.”
The singer quickly took to her Twitter account to thank everyone who voted for.
Go’s Filipino co-stars in “Miss Saigon,” Jon Jon Briones and Eva Noblezada, also picked up acting awards for their performance.
It was a big win for “Miss Saigon,” as it 11 of the 25 awards.
