[VIRAL] Gary Valenciano surprises onboard Pinoy plane passengers

The passengers onboard a Philippine Airlines flight leaving Los Angeles going to Manila were experienced a surprise performance by Kapamilya star Gary Valenciano while preparing for take-off on Monday, October 13.

“This is for my fellow Filipinos here and those overseas who always give their best. Para sa inyong hardwork, dedication at galing na ipinakita, please accept this very simple gesture from all of us,” the singer said over the plane’s public address system.

After announcing, he appeared from the pilot’s deck and started to sing for all the passengers. Valenciano showcased The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) 20th anniversary theme song entitled “Galing ng Filipino,” which pays tribute on how Pinoys continue to carry their talents and outstanding characteristics such as smiling amid the any kind of misfortune wherever they are in the world.
The passengers were surprised and delighted by his appearance. The singer walked around the plane while singing, shaking hands and hugging the passengers, and taking photos with them.

The song was written and composed by Jonathan Manalo and was arranged by Valenciano’s son Gab, with additional lyrics by Pam Castillo and Jay Santiago.

Valenciano concluded by saying “Nais po namin kayong pasalamatan. Hanggang ngayon at lagi niyo pa rin binabalikan ang bansang inyong kinalakihan.”
