[WATCH] Why are Kathryn’s fans against Jane Oineza

Jane Oneiza,  the third place winner of the“Pinoy Big Brother: All In” has cried foul over the criticisms thrown at her by fans of fellow Kapamilya talent Kathryn Bernardo who accused her of copying their idol.

Oneiza poured her heart out against the accusations as she aired her protest during an interview on the Tuesday episode of “Kris TV.”

Oneiza lamented the pronouncements of Kathryn’s fans that she was just imitating their idol when she celebrated her debut.

“Hindi ba nag-debut ako? At dahil sa nag-debut ako, ginaya ko daw si Kathryn. Sabi ko, ‘Ano? Wala na akong right mag-debut?” Oineza  cried.

(Because I celebrated my birthday, does that mean  I am just copying Kathryn? Don’t I have the right to celebrate my debut?)

“Tapos sinasabi na I will never surpass Kathryn, na gaya-gaya lang ako sa kanya,” she added.

(Then they tell me I will never surpass Kathryn, that I am just a copycat.)

Oineza said that she and Kathryn shouldn’t be compared with each other as she belied to have said that she will surpass the popularity of Bernardo.

Oineza has pointed out that Kathryn and her have different personalities and they have different characters as well, so there’s no sense for her to imitate the latter.

The young actress said the criticisms have gotten into her.

Admitting that she was affected by the criticisms, she had told rumored boyfriend, La Salle star athlete Jeron Teng, of the bashings  that were hurled at her.

“Kasi magkausap kami the whole night, hindi ako makatulog. Sabi niya, ‘Why can’t you sleep?’ Ganyan ganyan,” she said.

(We were talking the whole night, I cannot sleep. He asked why can’t you sleep?)

Teng who has come to the rescue to defend Jane also took to the photo-sharing site Instagram  to also show his support to Oineza.

Teng posted in the Instagram: “Promote what you like instead of bashing what you have.”
