A freak accident saw a Dela Rosa Transit bus run over and crush a gray Toyota Vios on the northbound lane of EDSA Munoz Thursday morning, trapping the car’s driver.
Initial radio reports said rescuers had to cut off the car door to rescue the driver. The gray Toyota Vios has a conduction sticker YL1942.
Before his rescue, the driver was given a helmet by rescuers. He was immediately given medical assistance after being pulled out of the vehicle.
All the passengers on the bus were told to disembark.
The incident caused heavy traffic near Munoz area.
