Jolina wins P990,000 on ‘Singing Bee’

“Flordeliza” star Jolina Magdangal became the latest jackpot winner of “The Singing Bee” in the game show’s episode that aired on Friday.

Magdangal, who was popular in the ’90s as a pop singer, has been the defending champion for three days straight. On her third try, the Kapamilya actress finally clinched the P930,000 pot money.

This after she correctly guessed the missing lyrics of “If” by Bread (from the category love song), “If I Were You” by Tamia (pop), and “Whoops Now” by Janet Jackson (Jackson).

Her previous winnings included, Magdangal took home a total of P990,000.

Magdangal will get to return as defending winner next week. If she makes it until the finale episode of “The Singing Bee” on February 6, she will face off against previous jackpot winners Sheryl Cruz, Frenchie Dy and Body Cruz.
