[WATCH] Alleged Chinese Drug Dealer Receives Slaps from QC Mayor Herbert Bautista

August 9, 2014 Philippine Local News

According to GMA News, a Chinese national was arrested yesterday along Philcoa onboard a Toyota Vios because he was carrying about 10kgs of shabu, which is believed to have a street value of PhP 15M.

As seen on the video, the suspect identified as Zhen Zi Xu from his Philippine driver’s license got slapped twice from QC Mayor Herbert Bautista because he was mocking the mayor amid his arrest. He even somewhat “videobombed” (photobomb but on video) the mayor during the interview.

If I remember correctly, it was just last year when one of our fellowmen, a Filipina traveling in China was executed there for carrying a large amount of heroin in her luggage. If proven guilty, I hope justice is served to this guy as well.

Some may find what the mayor did as a violation to the human rights of the suspect but we have been known to be quite soft on criminals bordering to being amicable, which is why there are many crimes, big or small, on the streets. I wonder what Mayor Duterte would have done if this was in Davao though.

Many may not agree but in my personal opinion, I salute the mayor for doing that. I tip my hat to you, Mayor Bautista!

In the end, I hope justice prevails.
