[WATCH] Mystery fireball explodes in Bangkok sky

Footage from several dashboard cameras captured a fireball falling from the sky and exploding over Bangkok, Thailand on Monday.

Timestamps in the footage collected in the video show that the fireball exploded at some time half past 8 in the morning.

Although the flame was short-lived, the sight amazed those who witnessed it.

According to a report on Reuters, Thai media reported that the fireball was also seen in other parts of the city as well as a nearby province of Kanchanaburi.

Some people initially thought that the fireball could have been an airplane, while others believed it could be a meteor, according to local media reports.

So far, there has been no official confirmation on what the object was.
