A student of De La Salle University – Manila was robbed of over P40,000 worth of gadgets and valuables inside a fast-food chain in Malate, Manila by suspected ”Salisi Gang” members.

SPO1 Claro Ventura of the Malate police said Neil Andrei Durugan was eating at the restaurant Wednesday afternoon when two unidentified men casually entered the place and sat behind the unsuspecting victim.

CCTV footage posted on Durugan’s Facebook account shows the two suspects, dressed as ordinary teenagers, silently stealing the victim’s bag.

Durugan lost a laptop worth P40,000, some clothes, shoes, mobile accessories, activity sheets and school supplies.

The two suspects remain at large.

Meanwhile, Durugan told ABS-CBNNews.com that this is not the first robbery incident in the area — Castro corner Fidel Reyes street — as some of his friends have already been robbed before.

He urged the other victims to surface and file a complaint with the police so the series of robberies will stop.

‘’Kung walang magrereklamo AT ALL, walang magiging pagbabago,’’ he said.—
