[WATCH] THE PYRAMID Official Trailer (2014)

The duo of Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur — known for the 2006 horror-thriller “The Hills Have Eyes” — are back with a film that is sure to haunt your Egyptian dreams (or, at least, your understanding of Egypt and its history).

In “The Pyramid,” Levasseur makes his directorial debut while Aja sits in the producer’s chair with Mark Canton. The film stars not-so-big names like Ashley Hinshaw, Denis O’Hare and James Buckley.

They play a team of American archeologists who discover a pyramid in the Egyptian desert. They enter the structure to learn more about it, and instead find themselves with the discovery that something (or some things) might still be living inside.

Are they trapped or do they find a way out? Will all of them survive or will some pay with their lives? We have to wait for the film on December 10 to find out.
